Each board can be treated with a light grease resistant coating, so the box stays flat even after 15 to 20 minutes in a warm delivery bag.

Which Box Style Suits My Service Type?

The right style will depend on how your nuggets are served. Tuck-top snacks are easy to fill at busy fast-service counters, and open-tray boxes make it easy for customers to grab a bite while in or out of their car. Clamshell boxes are good for holding heat and grease better for delivery orders, kids’ meal boxes are small enough to fit a small toy or sticker inside, and sharer or party trays are large enough for large groups and events. What Printing and Finishing Options Are Available?

There isn’t a single flat price for chicken nugget boxes, as it is a function of several factors rather than one catalogue rate. Order quantity is the most important factor, as large runs can significantly lower the cost per unit. Box size and thickness also play a role, as do the number of colours of print used, since single-colour print costs less than full CMYK. Finishings such as lamination, foiling or UV spotting add a small cost per unit, and turnaround time is another factor as standard production costs less than rush orders. A quote for 500 boxes is different from a quote for 10,000 boxes, which is why we don’t give a flat number for every possible order. How Long Does Delivery Take in the UK?

We print and dispatch from our UK premises reducing lead times and avoidance of customs delays experienced by out-of-country packers. Standard production takes seven to ten working days from artwork approval, with express production available if necessary. We deliver in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Is There a Minimum Order Quantity?

Minimum order quantities are available so you don’t have to commit to ordering from a warehouse full of stock and paying more than you need to in order to get your special packaging. We work as well with independent takeaways and single site cafes as with multiple stores, so quantities can be made to suit both without either party overpaying for the volume they don’t need.

Can I See a Sample Before Ordering in Bulk?

Yes. We can produce a short sample run or a 3D digital mock-up before you place your full print order, so you can check size, colour accuracy, and finish before you commit to a big order blindly. It’s just an extra step that saves you time and money.

Will Grease Soak Through the Box?

If you are using grease-resistant coated board, it’s designed to handle hot, oily food without turning soft, translucent, or weak at the seams. This is one of the reasons we don’t recommend using uncoated cardboard for anything fried — it’s not designed for the job.

Do Custom Sizes Cost More Than Standard Ones?

Yes. We don’t charge separate die or plate charges for custom sizes. Our prices are based on the number of sheets, material, and print, not on whether it’s “standard” size or custom made. Most of our orders are custom-sized anyway, because very few kitchens serve the same size as everyone else’s.
